“Since the beginning of my studies on the late twentieth-century and avant-garde flute repertoire, I felt the strength of contemporary sounds and their semantic affinity with all the wider world of contemporary visual and performing arts.
Firmly convinced of the historical and cultural need for an ever-increasing audience to appreciate its effectiveness, I have therefore chosen to combine the traditional concert activity as a musician with an activity of study, practice and all-around research – from figurative arts to theater, new technologies, scenography – to create performances in which the language of today’s music dialogues other performative languages.
My target is a synthesis between the arts – declined from time to time in different ways and with different tools – constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of listening. This synesthetic fusion represents for me the vehicle of artistic, empathic communication that combines in its message cultural contents, emotions, and suggestions for true inner enrichment. “
